Inside a dimly lit corridor stands Janelle Nolan. So Effing Xtraordinary correspondant who began quietly walking through a set just as Deva yelled "CUT, BREAK FOR LUNCH." Janelle then turns to the camera.
Janelle::: S.E.X Productions, Janelle Nolan here on set and ready to interview with one of the newest hires, Richard Rodrigue who will be known as Frederick Rose. The movie being shot today has yet to get an official title from the writers but it will star Richard Rodrigue and Peyton Jean-Baptiste. They've just breaked for lunch, so lets pop in and see if we can get a word with Richard.
*walks through the set doors to see everyone clearing to their dressing rooms or setting up for the next scene. Janelle walks up to a door and knocks.*
Janelle::: Richard?
Richard::: *sticks the pencil he was using behind his ear* Coming. *opens the door and smiles at her*
Janelle::: Richard. *smiles* So Effing X Inside is here to get to know you. Got a minute?
Richard::: Um.. *looks at her for a second and turns to inspect his dressing room* Yeah sure... *looks back at her and steps to the side to let her in*
Janelle motions for the camera man to enter with his camera. He sets it towards a couch that Richard takes a seat on, then Janelle sits next to him.
Janelle::: Richard Benard Rodrigue ... Tell us about how you got hired to So Effing Xtraordinary productions.
Richard::: Um... *scratches his head* I honestly don't know. Maybe it was because of my art work... yeah... *looks at the camera and back to her*
Janelle::: Word around has been that you're a very talented natural artist *nods*. Did you audition for the part of Frederick Rose?
Richard::: Kind of ... I guess it was an observation they had when they came to a gallery of mine. I was immitating how this guy was acting, and they saw and like a week later I got a call. *smiles and nods*
Janelle::: Sounds good. When your first script was given to you and you read it in full ... What were your feelings about it? S.E.X is keeping tight lipped on your introduction to the world and production so it goes to say that they've drummed up something pretty good in regards to Frederick Rose.
Richard::: *chuckles and smiles* Really? people are inticipating my role like that? [rubs the stubble on his jaw, letting his thick cajun accent pour through] Well when I first read the script, i was kind of set back by it, cause I had to think about it in perspective as me being in that character for all the filming process, and you may not know this but I am complete opposite of Freddy. I don't know if they've let you see any of what we've done, but trust me, i'm a complete 360 of what Freddy represents.
Janelle::: *nods* Ok ... Your first movie, your starring opposite Peyton, who plays Janine. Did you two hit it off right away? Was their tension? Anything of any kind ...?
Richard::: We were.... *searches for the words* i guess cordial... it was kind of a block because I don't really talk to people that much, except for when i do my gallerys, but once we started shooting we warmed up to one another. Until the sex scenes. I was very shy cause i'm not used to performing in front of a camera *nervous chuckle*
Janelle::: *eyes widen* Sex scenes? Really? Your first film? *laughs* S.E.X can be pretty graphic. Were you fully nude?
Richard::: *blushes and nods* yes we were. we have actual nude shots of us... it was.... yeah. *rubs his neck*
Janelle::: Moving on ... *smiling* Is there anything at all you an tell us about your debut? Or your character?
Richard: I can say that he is very.... out there. And, [chuckles and switches up to hiding his accent and speaking in the tone he uses for Frederick] Don't let this pasty skin fool you.... I aint white. I'm creole Mama, big difference.
