Writing Challenges
Current deadline: Friday March 12, 2010 ... 12am CST

Character Use Challenge --->
  • Directions: Write a short story using the characters below. Stay as true to the character as you possibly can.
  • Main Characters: Maddox Ames & Janine Hines
  • Sub Characters: Maxine Thomas, Trent Darren, Yung Li and Naveen Omorose
  • Use of all sub characters is not required. Both mains are.
  • 25 page maximum. Margins set at 1.25 on all sides. Font size 10, times new roman.
  • Title it anything you want ... Need 3 entries to be an official open competition.
  • First, second and third will get small banner awards.
  • First place will have their short featured on the site until the next challenge is over.


    • Banner Writing Challenge --->
  • Directions: Using the banner and title given, write a short story that goes with it. Do not use S.E.X characters.

  • Need 3 entries to be an official open competition.
  • First, second and third will get small banner awards.
  • First place will have their short featured on the site until the next challenge is over.

  • Send in your entry by emailing Deva. Put the challenge name in the subject line. Inside the email, put your name and your site (if you have one). Make sure your story is there as an attachment, and not inside the email. Get it there by deadline and you're good. Thanks ladies!
